Women's Exchange

_____________________________________________

Hello Friends,

This month our nation celebrates the 90th anniversary of women's right to vote.

Why are we still making a big deal of women & women's firsts?  It’s simple. Knowing this gives us inspiration, guidance & validation. We can't stop until we see ....many more women leaders in every category & industry.

The Women's Exchange Profiles were created to honor & generate public recognition of the achievements & positive contributions of women in business & their organizations. Nominations for the annual Women's Exchange Profiles are now being accepted. Women entrepreneurs, executives & the organizations they run are eligible to be nominated. For details email: info@womens-exchange.com

There's framing & then there's reframing in the moment. Today's pace of change, organizational complexity & increasing specialization make adaptability essential for us. Given our multiple roles, women are masters of that flexible mind-set -- fuel to dynamic leadership, sensitivity & spontaneity.

Join us from 5 to 7 pm on September 13 as we gather at a world-class facility. From the time you walk into UAB’s new Women & Infants Center, with its five-story glass rotunda & wood, granite & tile mosaic finishes, you know you haven’t walked into an ordinary hospital. UAB Hospital is ranked among the nation’s top 20 best hospitals for gynecology by U.S. News & World Report, 2010-11.

Make connections & get deserved recognition - join the Women's Exchange. Thanks for sharing - please continue to send fodder for this YOUR newsletter.
