Professional: First (and, more importantly, not the last) female attorney hired at a 40-year-old firm; Appointed Lead Counsel to represent health benefit payers (insurance companies and self-funded employers) in the first national class action in which health benefit payers received reimbursement from a brand name drug company that had illegally blocked generic competition; Appointed by Attorney General Bill Pryor as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Alabama to defend the Department of Revenue in class actions seeking over $1 billion from our General and Education Trust Funds.
